LEEP promotes learning that transcends cultural, geographical, and disciplinary boundaries. Our home base at the University of Colorado allows us to draw from expertise across academic departments while our global reach allows us to learn from and collaborate with colleagues and practitioners around the world. LEEP is committed to bringing people together to make sure that learning gets translated back into action. Each of our major projects will have a bi-directional education and exchange component wherein LEEP staff and University researchers will be embedded in activities on the ground while local researchers and policy entrepreneurs from our projects will come and spend time at the University.
Acre-Colorado Exchange is a collaboration between professors, researchers and administrators at the University of Colorado (CU), government officials from the state of Acre, Brazil (Acre), and professors and administrators from the Federal University of Acre (UFAC). Together, we seek to develop programmatic, research, consulting, and exchange components for graduate-level courses and degree programs. Learn More.
Language Collaboration with CU’s International English Center (IEC) supports educational exchange and real time policy experimentation with GCF Task Force members. In 2017, the IEC developed a pilot English course for GCF Task Force civil servants from Acre. In 2018, we will be launching this course online for partners in Acre.
